Byron Bay Lighthouse Wedding

The stunning Byron Bay lighthouse is where India and Samuel chose to have their wedding.

This spot is iconic for incredible views across the whole of Byron. It is where the sun first hits Australia each morning due to being the most easterly point of Australia.  Truly magical.

REVIEW: “Kat shots are phenomenal. If your looking for a talented wedding photographer in the Byron Bay shire area, Kat is your person!  “ India.

REVIEW CONTINUED: “Kat really made it her aim to focus on not just the bride and groom but including our family and friends as well. Kat made the photos feel light and enjoyable rather than serious or rushed. Kat really focused on getting the perfect shots.  Thank you so much Kat for these beautiful memories to keep for a lifetime to come! “ India.

I worked closely with them before the day to get the  timings and locations just right so we made sure we captured all the magic of sunset. And wow did the Byron Bay Lighthouse switch it on. This is one of my first weddings since moving up from Sydney a year ago (just finishing mat leave now), what an icon place to capture my first couples big day. I’m feeling vert grateful right now.

What I loved about their  wedding at the Byron Bay Lighthouse is how effortlessly it flowed, they kept it simple with only close friends and family as guest, they had just half an hour to set up the ceremony before it start and thanks to all their loved one it was a breeze.  They arrange a bus to bring all the guests up to the lighthouse and down to the reception which I’d highly advise as parking can be tricky up there. It also meant no one was late for the day = )

I hope these photos portray the genuine love between them. It twas such a pleasure to capture their day,  Truely magical.

India and Samuel have know each other since they were in primary school however lost touch as they got older. Years later they found each other on Facebook and now the rest is history = )
