In exciting news, this week I attended my first Byron Bay Wedding Fair at Forget Me Not Weddings

Having spent the first 8 years of my wedding photography career in Sydney I have to say it is blissful to now be driving around the STUNNING Byron Bay hinterland for work. I feel so lucky to call the Byron Shire my home. I took this chance to visit a venue I haven’t been to before, Forget Me Not Weddings during the Byron Bay Wedding Fair. Where I met the lovely owner, Jo who’s had the property in her family for generations. I’m loving connecting with long time locals in the area. Everyone is so friendly and there’s a sense happiness where-ever you go. Living on this scared land (as a lot of people call it) really does rub off. Jo’s beautiful property, Forget Me Not Weddings, really makes you feel at one with nature, calm and fulfilled.  It certainly left an impression on me and I can’t wait to go back.

Vendors who were there on the day:
Florist # 1 – The French Petal – Estelle, owner, did a superb job decorating the 2 ceremony wedding locations, and 2 dinning areas. Wow her style is simply breath-taking. The use of pastel colours is dream like, she has such a great eye and is such a wonderful person. The full package! I would highly recommend Estelle for your Byron Bay wedding.
Florist # 2 –  Flowers By Jo In Byron – The lovely Jo did a fantastic job with the flowers on the outside of the Sperry and the table settings inside the tent. So stunning!
Tent and Lighting –Sperry Tents – This is the first time I’ve seen these tents before. They are such a nice alternative, they feel really spacious inside thanks to their high ceilings and the soft billowing white fabric around the edge, giving a very romantic. Perfect for your wedding day in Byron Bay!
Furniture Hire:  The Wedding Shed – I have to say the team here are the GO to for Byron Bay weddings, they have an incredible eye and so much beautiful furniture and styling images to tailor make your day exactly how you envisioned it.
Stationery:  Signed By Shaun – Shaun did such an awesome job on the stationary, I love the menus on the table in the Sperry tent.
